In special circumstance, you can visit an Australian Passport Office in your local State or Territory to lodge your passport application. This service is by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling us on 131 232.
We will send you your new passport unless you asked to pick it up. If you are picking up your passport, visit your nearest passport office.
Australian Passport Offices are not open on Australian national public holidays. On state and territory based public holidays, only those states or territories affected will be closed.
